I have it in mind to make a jewellery cabinet which will have quarter circular doors at either end (sorry can't seem find a way of downloading sketchup drawing). However, these doors will be made from staves, as in coopering, are there any tips that you learned folk can pass on. The doors are 200mm tall and have an outside radius of 80mm and are made from 10mm stock. I intend to have 6 staves per door so included angle will be 15 deg. I have made some test pieces and iot has shown that this angle has to be pretty accurate!
Questions

Will edge joints be sufficient
Should I rebate the top and bottom of the door to hold the staves
How do I download sketchup.

Thanking you in anticipation.

John
PS. I may have bitten off more than I can chew!!!
