What amazes me is they park on the floor, sit cross legged for hours in front of a little board, and produce such work!
We make such a fuss about building benches, which type of vice, tool, etc... makes you think does'nt it?

Not really Sam, there's as much waffle out there on Japanese techniques, their benches, their tools & sharpening plane blades till they can shave the hair of a nat's knacker as there is western waffle, it just depends on where you're looking.
