The green and wetter end of the M4.
the best finish I've ever achieved on a bowl :D , and a complete pipper to photograph  , and a very good chance it may have been disqualified for looking too much like a platter so made a different one for this months challenge.
I tried to make a bowl that would work either way up :? not sure if it worked. wood is Kasanda, finished with cellulose SS and fiddes soft wax.

Congratulations on the finish, no excuses now, whether you go for gloss or mat finish in future you know you can get there so no room for excuses.

Novel idea on reversible bowl, will have to explore that theme myself.

Very nice Nev and as the others have said a novel idea.

Steve :)

PS. Just looked in on your blog, very nice :)

'congratulations on the finish' from chas :!: high praise indeed
thanks for the comments guys.
forgot to say in the original post - no fancy cole type chucks involved! everbuild double sided tape between first finished (flat) side and scrap wood on a faceplate and it never budged while i turned and finished the whole of the underneath.
