can anyone tell me how Jackson & Day, Collins Complete Woodworker's Manual,

differs from Jackson, Day et al., Complete Manual of Woodworking,

I've just had a quick look and the first thing I saw was that the Complete Manual of Woodworking is a paperback.

I have the Complete Woodworker's manual and it is excellent.

As Neil says, the Complete Manual is a paperback, and not published by Collins... Other than that, I expect it's identical. The smaller books on tools, joinery etc by Jackson and Day are pulled from the Manual I believe. Great reference book - I wouldn't be without mine.

It was the content I was worried about. Looks like the Collins is on its way from a relative.
