The arrow is point at the price I paid around 1958, 65/- That's £3.25 to the young boys. Same blade and original box the plane has always been stored in a wooden tool box over the 47 years.

There is also a no.4 1/2 plus a combination also a shoulder plane, block plane, router plane and now the low angle blcok plane all in the same wooden tool box.
The last one cost £43 a few weeks ago.

Actually the bungalow we purchased in Essex 1958 cost £999 today it should fetch around £200000. . Seems I made another mistake in life should have bought 3 houses.
 
Well at least you are the owner of a £650 jack plane if you use those inflation rates! :D
