Well as promised by Axminster it arrived on time and the driver happily put it right into the WS.

Took about 30 mins to dismantle the crate that it came in, have to say very well packed and bolted down to crate base.

I had to sit and think for a while to figure the easiest way for HID's to get it off the crate and onto the stand (where's Martin when you need him), lots of bits of wood and an hour later and it was in its final resting place.

Don't know why but I've decided to call it Henry, sad isn't it when you name your tools.

Got to give it a good decreaseing tomorrow and do a few test runs.
In time I'll do a detailed review.

Niceeeeeeeee! \:D/
I'll be down tomorrow with that 6 cubes of cherry to make sure its "set up properly"
Seriously, that looks like a great machine. Look forward to your review,
Philly :D

Congratulations Waka!

I,d be interested to know how flat that ally fence is and if there's any wind in it.... and if it's possible to get it square and keep it there...

...all in due course obviously! :D

Enjoy your new toy!

Cheers

Looks great. Hope you get cracking on processing some timber with it now!

Nice looking machine. I may have to bring down some timber just so you can show me how it works

Well Henry does look like a seriously useful bit of kit. :D Cast Iron tables, green who me.
Instead of taking the shavings to the dump, you need to buy a wood burner, free heat for the shop from your waste by products. 8)

Waka, enjoy.

It is VERY white and shiney, I'd think I'd need shades to look at it.

I'm seriously disapointed with this thread. I was hoping it was going to be about:

Seriously though. I love Jet tools, and I was thinking about purchasing the PT later this year, you'll have to let us know how you get on with it.
