This is from the Gardeningknowhow website. "Golden raspberry plants are primocane bearing, meaning they bear fruit off the first year canes in the late summer."
I don't know if it is the absolute truth as there seems to be several varieties of "golden"raspberries although a quick Googling suggests that golden or yellow raspberries are borne on current year's growth.
