Not an advert but I have some items I wish to sell and need some advice about their value and such reserves I should put on eBay.

Thinking of selling a dewalt 708 mitre saw and stand good condition.

Woodrat wr5 never used.

Leigh dovetail jig. Never used

And possibly a kity 419 table saw with side table and cross cut carriage.

Mod edit- As mentioned plenty of resources to indicate value etc.

You could look at the sold values on eBay.

I have noticed that:

The woodrats don't seem to come up as often as they used to.
The Leigh jigs don't seem to make as much as they used to.

If you are looking at what they are worth and happy with the average, advertising on here might be worthwhile. You may get more on eBay but they also may not sell if the reserve is a bit high. For things like the 419 you may get a better audience on here, who understand what a decent beginners saw is whereas on eBay it is amongst the b and q crap that is being sold at the time. Just search table saw and you will see what I mean.

.... don't forget eBay/PayPal between them take about 15% of the final price plus about 15% of the P/P charge as well!

That's the thing 15% of what?

I haven't a clue about their current value.

Use the archive of completed sale prices on ebay to find the market price.

May be better to search using 'sold prices' rather than 'completed listings' as I believe latter includes listings that have finished but not necessarily sold.
