The first time I have managed to turn a natural edge bowl and keep the bark on.

Not much to look at, but I'm no less chuffed with it.

This one is better looking though. I rough turned it last Summer and packed it away with wet shavings. I was pleasantly surprised with it being cherry - there were no splits or cracks.

Apologies for the size of the pics if they are too large. Photobucket has changed to the rubbish new layout and I haven't got my head round how it works yet.
 
I've only tried a couple of natural edged bowls so far and both lost a good deal of bark in the process, so well done Taz, I can understand why you are chuffed.
The grain pattern in the second bowl especially is really quite stunning.

I have nothing but trouble with it every month for the challenge pictures. The only dam camera in the house that takes the best pictures for the challenge doesn't have the option to change the size so I have no choice but to use photo bucket :( :twisted:
