I've just made some small figures out of walnut to make into keyrings. While cutting it on the scroll saw, and then sanding it with the Dremel, it seemed really soft. Will it not work well as a keyring, and get dents in it? The other wood I'm using is maple, which I figure will hold up better, right?

Walnuts pretty soft stuff how are you ataching said item to keys, hook eye?

If it's English or European it's around 35lbscu' if memory serves, so it's reasonably easy to work with, but by no means 'soft' as in say Scots pine or cedar - Rob
