i think so. Bosch blue is good stuff. Buy it through ebay and if it doesnt work you are protected. Looking at his other items and previous sales, he seems to use some reputable kit and people are happy. Also, tradesmen rely on their tools, so treat them with care. no being left in a damp shed for months etc.

It will be better than a new one at 35 quid, that is for sure. Remember to buy decent blades though.

I wouldn't give you 35p for any second hand power tool from Ebay, you've no idea how old it is or what it's been put through.

Speaking as a tradesman Marcos I personally use my power tools to the point of destruction, which quite often is pretty quick with cheaper stuff. I wouldn't buy a used power tool off me!

Good job i bought a new one then!!

Good man, always make that a rule with power tools, even buying from a friend there's no way of knowing if it's going to die in a weeks time. Hand tools are different of course.

What I meant is that you wouldn't use the handle as a mallet and that a I would rather spend 35 quid on that than 35 quid on a new cheapie. I know what you are saying about not knowing how long it will last.

Now the budget has grown to 3 or 4 x what it was the options are entirely different.
