IMO it's just as well it happened as now they can re-do the kitchen properly this time. Those units look like something from the 60s :shock:

Agreed! Hideous revamp.

The thing I'd question though is why the woman in the car didn't have her foot on the brake while changing into Park :roll: Even revving it's nuts off, the brake would have negated the operation of the acellerator.

Same thing happened just down the road from me, older driver had brand new automatic car delivered on Saturday, on Sunday morning it shot across the road with him at the wheel, down the house opposite drive taking a fence out and severing a gas pipe, luckily no one was hurt and the gas pipe was flattered sealing it.

I think they are both a case of mistaking the break and accelerator.
