Is there a difference between makita batteries.

Hi All,
My local B&Q have got a Makita 18v combi drill with 2 batteries and charger (+ Makita accessory kit) for £95, i cant remember if it is a 1.3Ah model or the 2.0Ah (1.3Ah is likely) can i just use 18v 2.0Ah batteries (with suitable charger) or are they not compatible?

And does anyone know if the orange/red batteries and the black ones are interchangable or not?

As far as I know you can chance the red and black batteries a round but I have a friend that can tell me for sure.

Hi Joe,

You can use either batteries in that tool, red or black (nicad and himh) without problems.
