I can assure you I am not sufferring from paranoia.

Many times I make for my workshop or walk to my car a neighbour appears on the scene opposite.

Are there devices that alert someone to movement within perhaps 100yds with an alarm call or notification?

If so are they legal or entitled to use them anyway they wish?

I don't understand, are they watching you? If they have CCTV you can get movement alerts. There are laws regarding where a CCTV can "look" though. My father recently had one fitted, he had to get permission from neighbours since it was covering their land too (they were of course happy since they have now got basically free CCTV coverage, but it still had to be done). As for areas that are not your land, he was only able to record the pavement and road immediately in front of his property.

In short yes, they can detect you in several ways, such as via security cameras or infra-red movement detectors, of the sort used in outside security lights.

If there is technology involved, it's most probably a security camera system that's badly set up. For a static camera with motion detection, you should be able to exclude areas of the image, and/or types of triggering in certain areas.

Next time it happens, why not just pop over and say hello? They might be nice!

Cheers,

E.

Keep doing the same thing... only do it at 3am.

They'll soon get fed up.

Wear a space blanket.
The PIR wont pick up body heat then and you can creep across the road and spray paint the lens black. Then they would never bother you again.

Nev, no good. A ghillie suit wont fool an infra red scanner.
its gotta be a space blanket.
Or else a good dollop of river river mud aka arnie in terminator.

Nope, need to try harder. See me after class please

Hey, I've heard about those after school one on one detentions.

Unless of course youre a good looking female, in which case I'm your (w.a.s.p.) man.

I am either not understanding this at all, or are you in some kind of East Endaway type soap and the scenes are all set and they are screwing up the filming? What does the neighbour do? Flash/wave/moon?
