Is a better HVLP gun worth it (Apollo Turbine, HVLP)?

Hi All

I have an Apollo HVLP 3 stage Turbine (Spraymaster 1500). I have the ANB300 gun, which is now knackered (just about cheaper to buy another ANB300 than ordering the separate parts it needs). It was already in poor shape when I bought the unit a while back.

I see that there is a 7700 Gun available from Apollo. However, it is almost double the price of the ANB300.

Are there any advantages to getting a better gun in the context of my setup?

Another query, perhaps someone might have some experience with the Apollo 1500 and moved onto a better setup entirely (perhaps Fuji 4 or 5 stage) ?

Is it a law of diminishing returns when upgrading beyond this point in terms of HVLP Turbines?
