Hello all

I have a quick question before I spend some hard earned on spreader clamps

Irwin original & Bessey Duo are pretty comparable on price so I wondered if anyone had an opinion on which would be better

Will be used for furniture glue ups

Thanks in advance

Denis

Hi Denis,

I don't use these myself but I did quick search on both. They look virtually the same to me, they both seem fine. I see more of the Irwin's in builders merchants for what it's worth.

Thanks for the reply

I've been out and bought some 36" Irwin clamps, but will order some of the Besseys as they look as if you can stand your glue-ups upright while setting

Thanks Denis,

For that reason bessey wins :) . Will bear that in mind if I invest in some.
