:) Hi everyone another member

I am semi retired spent whole working life testing military aircraft.
I have a garage workshop with most of the popular power tools and many hand tools (latest Veritas block plane).
I am a fan of Norm and have recorded most of his programmes, however there is a couple of things that bug me: he never shows how and what he uses to fill nail/brad holes and I have only once seen him use a dust mask, often his head is buried in wood /mdf dust, perhaps he has built up an immunity, but I doubt it.
Great forum

In one programme during the last 17 years he showed how he fills the nail holes with coloured filling putty.
He leaves the dust mask off just for 'photgraphic purposes' the same way as he never has a saw guard in place.
