Hi all
If you need to insulate a metal garage door then the product to use is called Celotex. You should buy the 50mm thickness which somes in normal board size so that two will be enough for a single garage door.
If you don't use the garage door then you can build a frame to hold the Celotex in place. If you want to continue using it then you can attach the Celotex to the door itself. It will cut very easily.
I bought it from Jewsons but you can find your local stockist from this site
http://www.celotex.co.uk/
The product is the one recommended by everyone at uk.diy and I also saw it being used by Tommy Walsh when he was insulating some wooden floors.
Cheers
