If you are into finely crafted reproduction antique furniture in solid mahogony with beautifully finished french polish then this site is not for you BUT if you prefer something a bit more contemporary then http://www.walktheplank.dk/index.html is worth a look. It is the sort of thing that I aspire to. One day. And all made from a plank of wood.

Why reproduction antiques, whats wrong with the real thing :p

Yeah, its all good stuff. Looks nice, but I really wouldn't be surprised if its horrible to sit on. And very un-practical to clean.

Amazing how the stuff is neatly put together, i'm sure its actually well within the bounds of many woodworkers. I have a load of maple at the moment, and i've been thinking what to do with it. :?:

Generally the un-practical part applys to alot of designer stuff i've found, take a dyson for instance. In the shop it looks all nice and great, when its full of dust - its a different story :x
