Hi guys

I need some help.

I have a special musical box which is my daughter's. See images below.

As you can see, the cheap and nasty plastic casing has been mistreated, so I confiscated it from her some years ago. I have just come across it and would like to give it back to her at Christmas (yes, how sad - thinking about that time of year already....). I thought a nice turned case for it would be just the job - is this the sort of thing somebody out there would be willing to do? Paid, obviously.

Cheers

Hi Karl

As a cabinet maker surely you can make one your self, cutting round pieces for top and or bottom and multi faceted sides? or perhaps a straight box with lid?

This would mean much more to both you and your daughter.

Thinking of Christmas this early isn't sad, better to do it now than rush later. I am currently working on a tooth fairy box for my grandaughters Christmas present.

Best regards

Brian - thanks, they're just down the road from my workshop.

Strat - I don't want a box/multi faceted design. I don't have a lathe (no use for one, except for this job).

Cheers

Karl
