On top of that, half the target market** will prefer to spend time making their own anyway, so you're never going to sell many, whatever the price is.

I think cheap imports have conditioned us to think that everything ought to be cheap!

I do want something like that (not exactly that but close) and I am in the half of the target market that prefers to make their own. I have bought the timber to do so (birch) and have it drying out ready for me to tackle the job over the winter. I am currently searching for suitable vice hardware.
