Hi everyone
I've just bought a huge amount of turning blanks as I am just getting into turning to add to my problems. Now although most of them had names on them I've still got about 50 or so pieces that I just don't have a clue about.
Although It's not that important to me to be able to name them all, it would be nice if I could. Now to get to the question. I seem to remember that about a year or so ago Chris (I think) came up with a web site from a private collector that gave many different pictures of each type of wood. I have run a search on here and google and teoma and got nothing helpful, so I'm hoping that someone will have put it in their favorites and can find it for me again.
All the best

John

For what it's worth I have added the links so far to the bottom of the Timber Suppliers ref page.(desperately trying to shorten my favorites list)
