Hanging a door with new hinges (in a Virgin door jamb that I done a few years ago). I have routed out the hinge and then offered it up and found that it is not sitting flat because it is hitting the architrave that I fitted which looking at now is quite proud.

I can’t run the router coming from the outside as the architrave is a ogee (?) I could try coming in from the jamb but what bit would you recommend to give a good workaround?

TIA (ps 1/4 inch router)

You can even use a hammer if you're no mallet to hand. Still only a 2 minute job.

Depending on how hard the achitrave is, you can sometime just do up the hinge screws and sink the knuckle into the architrave by compression.
