How to make your RSTS12 Table Saw work properly

I found this whilst searching for something else. I don't believe you can access it from the Record site.

It gives you complete instructions on how to make the saw work more smoothly.

not sure about any one else, but I don`t think I`d be very happy having to make those modifications to a saw thats advertised on the record website for £400!!!!!

the words cheap and nasty spring to mind (cheap as in cheaply made!!)

This Record saw is actually made by Lutz. I have been trying to get this sort of info from Southern Woodworking for ages.

Newbie_Neil you are a hero. This might actually turn the table saw on my maxxum into something other than a sharp coffee table!

I thought that the first picture was how to adjust the arbor plate, alas it's just the riving knife.

Ah well, back to the drawing board. :?

I've tried to ring record before and in my experience they never call you back. The forum is decent but I'm not sure they will be in a hurry to give help for a product they don't sell. Worth a try I suppose.
