Don't check for hidden screws in old wood that you are re-sawing

1 second's contact = 1 dead blade

Tony,

Your not the only one...recently cutting a very tight curve in a 6"x6" piece with a 3/8 inch blade I stopped the machine...accidentally knocked the piece of wood and stopped dead as I realised that the blade would probably now be kinked...d'oh it was..dead blade

When I cut some tight curves for the little stool I made recently - I thought "Must remember to swop out this blade and label it my "curves" blade - 'cos it'll cut at an angle from now on. ".

Did I remember? Nope. Result = a succession of non-straight cuts*

Adam

*Only for some new bases for beehives - so not actually of any consequence. But *must* remember to change it before I do anything important!!!

Screw, and two more DE blades in the post.

I feel so....

STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
