I've just watched Lynley on BBC1 terrestrial, whilst recording on DVD a prog from cable (ntl). I've come to watch the recording, only to find that the picture has recorded, but the soundtrack is from the Lynley we've just been watching, only very, very quiet.

Weird or what?

Very wierd

Just got 54MB/S wirelss networking working (only took 2 years :twisted: ) and so watched Lynley whilst browsing I like this :wink:

Hi Steve,

The cable plugs (the ntl cable ones!) might be loose somewhere, so the dvd doesn't pick up the sound from the 'cable' cable, but the dvd picks up the 'wave' from the terrestrial aerial cable so you get very quiet sound - just an idea - check the connections where it goes through the dvd.
