Hi Guys, i want to move on one of my routers but i have no idea how much to advertise it for (so cant post it in the for sale section)

i inherited this machine with my workshop, i understand its areal work horse machine but its had a very easy life with me, most of my work is done in a table and its just been used to cut 45 degree chamfers on 6ply maple & birch drum shells. im re kitting my workshop & much prefer triton routers with the above table adjustment so its time to let this go i think.

anyone able to offer any advice?

Surprised to see 12mm maximum on the label? Does this mean it takes metric cutters with 12mm shanks max?

This could seriously affect the value IMHO

A search of Sold Makita 3612c's on Ebay show's a variation of prices mainly in the £75-£150 range depending on age, condition, full compliment of accessories and what price you can get at the time.

thanks i tried to do that but my ebay brought up nothing other than whats on now, thats how i usualy value stuff.

the machines in great condition as its been hidden under table for the majority of its working life & its only cut light thin material, i have some accessories (pictured) but dont know what it came with i have no documentation unfortunately... gives me an idea.

Looks like you are only missing the small spanner.

I would say towards to top end of the prices.

I have one very nice routers.

Accessory wise the 3612 should come with 1/4" and a 1/2" collets, spanner, chip deflector/extraction attachment, router fence, instruction booklet and the blow moulded case.
They are very good routers as I have one myself.

Thanks Pete, Roughcut

just found the documentation/instruction booklet (they end up in bizzare places & i know not why), im just missing the 1/4 collect and small spanner & case, but im sure i have the spanner.

its a great machine, but wasted under my table, i think its weight & spec mean it should be in the hands of someone who will use it as it was intended...
