Hey folks,

I'm building my very own shed next week. I was advised to seal the edges of the OSB3 and sheathing ply after cutting. I've looked online and I have came across a lot of conflicting ideas. As such I'm not sure what advice to follow and what to disregard.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
Lee

If they are going to end up hidden, then I would suggest painting with a roof seal or liquid dpm paint.

If you have a tin of sikkens around that would probably work.

Marbe aluminium primer as it has good adhesion properties.

You could use a stiff brush to work it into the osb edges.
