For scribing house door moulding. I have tablesaw and bandsaw, what would the cuts and order be?
Cheers.

That's just two pieces of wood I glued together. Then I cut the 45degree angle on the saw afterwards.

Saw this in homebase yesterday. It'd have its uses but not as useful as a double ended wooden one

I've got an old one and it's a single piece.

So first cut the rebate (using your preferred combination of saw, chisel and rebate plane.)
Then cut the mitre in a mitre box. Plane the cut snooth, check, repeat if necessary.

It's probably easiest if you use a reasonably long piece of wood - a foot or so - not a tiddly bit the size of the finished article.

OK thanks,
Occurred to me this morning how I could do it. Suitable oblong section of timber, then cut a rebate on the tablesaw, then again on the tablesaw using a combination of Axminsters precision mitre gauge and Trend digital angle rule, then do the angled cuts.
