Hi
Got to looking at the wood scraps box and decided to use some. Used Tasmanian Blackwood, Tasmanian Oak and Hoop Pine. I did intend to turn the pieces but then thought would that have looked right in a turf hut in 8th century Norway.

That looks great. I had to click on the topic to find out what it was as I’ve never heard of hnefatafl before, thought you might have sneezed whilst typing!
 
I had never heard of it either until I came on this video last year.

Looked interesting so I put it on the gunna do one day list. Anyhow the scrap wood box was overflowing so had a go. Went a bit more simple than his version. Could say because his shed is better kitted out than mine but more like I was being an idle begger.
