Hey new member,

Bit embarrased looking at some of the posts but here goes

Terrible with wood but I had to do something to stop the crawler in the house getting to the gas meter boiler bits.

I made this cupboard and I now realise I have no idea how to put the doors on to open it.

Spent about 2 hours rubbing a saw on it so I could cut the door out because I'm an silly person and didn't think it through at all.

Here it is anyway wonder if someone can help with what type of hinge I could get that would let the door sit inside just like the bottom part which I have still to rub with a saw.

Also I measured the top and bottom they are the same size just looks bigger on the camera for some reason...

How about getting 2x cheap coach bolts same thickness as you MDF and cutting off the heads.

Glue the threaded bit into a bit of scrap MDF with a cut out for the bolt and then another bit of MDF on the back.

Same for the top so you have two pins top and bottom. Which then fit in sockets also made of MDF above and below your door?

Put a couple of washers to stop it binding.

Knew I'd get a couple of good ideas from here think the coach bolts is a good shout though.
This what your meaning?
