Hi everyone, I’m new here.
just thought I’d share with you a project I’ve recently completed.

Cheers James

Thanks guys. I have already started a business with it, that’s one of the reasons I’ve shared the project on here. Bit cheeky I know!

Nice truck Dan. Feel free to PM me your number - I buy and sell a lot of kit so I might be able to push some work your way - I'm only 20 minutes from melton. We're currently building a 2 ton hiab that will go on the 3 point linkage of dad's unimog. Means he won't have to haul it around all the time, just take it out when we need it. Not the sort of vehicle I'd want to do big distances in though!

Using that setup for business purposes, do you have to have it officially tested? Guessing it's not part of a standard MoT!
But looks like a marvellous job. When I bought my secondhand oil tank from a site about 10 feet below a very narrow road, the guy delivering the replacement tank had a Palfinger lift on his truck and it made the whole thing a doddle. Had otherwise had visions of all sorts of lashups with engine crane and fence strainer!

It looks like a triggers broom to me :)

we need to see pics of it lifting some Wadkin gear….then you can join this club proper :ROFLMAO:

It also must comply with the Supply of Machinery Safety Regulations/Machinery Directive.
That’s the law.
Unless it’s CE/UKCA marked it cannot legitimately pass a LOLER inspection.
