Hello,
I have a Multico Mortiser (K1 model) which I’ve not been using for the past 5 or so years and has now deteriorated and no longer works. I'm now restoring and have replaced the cabling, but have one failed component, a "DALY electrolytic condenser". This connects to a Hoover motor.
I was wondering if anyone could advice me on where I could get one or what I could use as an alternative.
I have spoken with Mike from Multico, but he tells me that the machine is too old for Multico support or spares and they don't have anything.
Please let me know if you need any further information, photos, etc.
Stef

I replaced the capacitor on the Hoover motor of my Multico K with a 80uf CBB60 capacitor, although I had to make a new capacitor box to hold it as it was quite a bit larger than the old one.

If it's got the same ratings as this one it should be OK on yours:
