I have got a Jet 1642 and have just ordered a copy attachment from axminster in order to start some batch work on spindles.
Now getting the copy attachment is a long story, basically work wanted me to make 24 identical spindles but i couldnt ensure that they would be identical. Plus they need them asap and other turners have let them down locally so they saidthat they would pay for the copying attachment and that i could do them in works time, therefore days off
I was wondering if anyone has used these? Also do they use standard metal lathe carbide cutters?
