I’m doing up a Wadkin AGS12 that is missing the riving knife and would really appreciated some help with dimensions. Luckily it came with the crown guard.

If anyone with the older Wadkin AGS (fence rides on rail at both sides of the table) could possible draw around their riving knife and add dimensions to enable me to make an exact replica I would be really grateful. I’m happy to pay for any expenses / beer tokens for your trouble.

Thanks Jeff, really appreciate you coming back.
I had searched and found your post before asking for help. I’ve tried an AGS10 riving knife and it’s too small, the crown guard for the AGS12 is a lot bigger. The crown guard I have is the older style with a large knob on the side that allows its angle to be adjusted.

I’d like to make one that’s a duplicate of the original, instead of just measuring up and making one that will fit.

I guess the design of these things constantly evolved. My version certainly works with 10 and 12 inch blades on my machine.

Several members have AGS variants and hopefully somebody will come up with the goods'

Jeff
