Help to identify maker plane iron J&W Picard

Hello all,

I bought an old and rusty plane iron yesterday. I suspect it once was a part of a shoulderplane (wood or infill). But i can only find hammers by Picard.

Does anyone know the history of the maker of this plane iron?

Another possibility is that it belonged to a tee-rabbet plane like this
