I've bought this sliding table but the support pipe that it slides on is missing. Can anyone let me know the dimensions, please?

You should be able to work it out from the dimensions between the rollers. Don't expect it tone meticulous but quite likely to be based on old inch plumbing sizes which were specified by the bore not to OD.

Eg scaffold pole which is 1.5 inch bore or 1-29/32 OD

When i bought my startrite table saw this came with it i don;t have a clue what it;s for but if it;s what you are looking for you are welcome to it Alan

it looks very much like the one I have on my TA300 PS so I can measure mine later for you if you like.

You'll also need the brackets to attach the pipe to your saw as they have all the adjusters built into them.

What saw are you fitting it to?

Thanks Alan - but it's not what I'm looking for. I've no idea what it is!

Thanks Adam, I'd appreciate the measurements from your saw. I'm fitting it to a TA175 so expect to have to do some fettling, but I'm happy I'll be able to fabricate mounting brackets and get the support arm in the right place.. Unfortunately, the rollers aren't in the same plane so it's difficult to get really accurate measurements. I find a 68mm plastic drainpipe can be forced in with some slight deformation so I'm thinking 65mm or 2.5 inches would be about right, which corresponds to the measurements I've taken; but I would appreciate confirmation before I order some metal!

Thanks,

Dave.

Thanks for all the information. I'm intending to use 3mm thick aluminium tubing which is sold by the exact outer diameter. I think 65mm will be about right, but when Adam sends me the dimensions from his TA 300PS I'll be more confident. I can't seem to add any more pictures at the moment but it does look like an aluminium tube.

Sorry about the delay, I'll do my best to get the measurements this evening for you

Couldn't find my vernier but I measured with a steel rule, it's 63.5mm diameter. It's a flat bottomed aluminium tube
