Help required please

Hi to all I live close to Warrington in Cheshire,is there anyone not too far away from me that has a surface planer?.I have some pieces of old furniture that require planing.Of course I would pay what was asked to receive the planing that was required,thank you.I am far too old to justify spending the kind of money that it would cost,also I have do not have the space for one. :lol:

Hi Bryan. If it comes to the crunch and you get no offers how about hiring a heavy duty belt sander from the local hire shop. That would certainly strip off any old varnish etc and then sand it smooth with an orbital sander.

Hi Geoff Thank you for your post,I will go to a local timber yard on Saturday morning to buy some wood.While there will ask if is possible to get my wood machined.If not I will have to go to another timber yard,I do not give easily. :roll:

Me again Bryan. Had a thought. I buy my timber already planed and the prices I pay are the best I have come across. If you want the details I will PM them to you. Just off to the craft fair so back this evening.
