Hi All
I need a little help. I was going to finish my latest project with poly and got to thinking about how long it takes to cure. (Smell). On 2nd thought, I might use laquer instead, but for the life of me I can't remember about the curing time and the lingering smell (if there is a lingering smell). Its been a few years since I used laquer.

Any help in this area will be appreciated.

Travis,

If you mean nitrocellulose laquer (normally sprayed), it dries in about 15 minutes and smells for half an hour.

If you mean one of the water born lacquers, they dry in about an hour and hardly smell at all.

Thanks Chris

That was what I was thinking, but was unsure.
Again many thanks.
Seams like everytime I learn something new , I forget something else.
Maybe my head is too small, or just getting the old timer problem. :p
Have a great day/night. :?:
