Hi Folks, just this moment joined. I have been working with wood for a while, hobbyist stuff, but just been making my garage into a little workshop.

I tend to work with (abuse!) Ash and Oak, so have kinda figured the costs involved getting hold of stock.

Here is the thing, and sorry to dump this on my first post, but I have been offered a lot of Honduras Mahogony, 18' x 3' by 1/2 inch, but not sure of the value, anyone able to offer a rough guide? There are 6 of these I can get my grubby paws on.... it has been in a retired cabinet makers workshop a long time.... Many thanks in advance, Derek

Three feet by half an inch?! Is it flat? That's an extraordinary dimension.

Hi Mike, not seen with my own eyes yet but photo looks good. There is also a 3/4 x 14 foot.... again, photo looks flat.
