Today I look like the elephant man, my eyes are so swollen it looks like i've stuck 2 golf balls under the bottom lids. My throat has closed and my nose is raw. It feels like I'm working half way up everest, just can't breathe .............. never had it this bad. Tablets just haven't touched it........................

Are you sure of the diagnosis, have a confirmed allergy profile? and it's not a sudden collapse of your tolerance to stuff in the workshop.

Allergies are particularly bad at the moment. You are not alone! It is worth attacking on multiple fronts: antihistamines, nasal inhaler (prescribed) and anti allergen eye drops or spray. Bronchial issues may require an inhaler. I am exceedingly familiar with all of this....

Apparently, visits to the GP for Hayfever like symptoms are up by 50%.

Personally, I've not been too bad this year compared to other years and just take cetirizine hydrochloride 10mg from over the counter.

I find a shower to remove the pollen if I've been outside works wonders.

Its been a bad year, I normally take antihistamine a few times a year, this year nearly every day.

This year I can't even go into the garden without my eyes watering.

mine's pretty bad at the moment, you are not alone, I looked a bit like rocky balboa in rocky IV at weekend, but I've also been doing a lot of woodworking as well, so soon I'll be even bigger than stalone.

I have found that no drugs make any difference to it, lilies are evil, for me it's only certain flowers I'm allergic to, and tree pollen seems to get me bad.
