Alexs was the aussie that inspired me to do the embroidery box 5 drawer project I posted last year together with advice on making the drawers, and I subsequentially went on to do a 13 drawer box.

I saw in a musem in France a few years back a full size football made from wood. Not sure what sort of 'hedron it was but there must have been 100s of individual panels and not a gap in sight.

Will you be having ago at one of these?
