Looks interesting though. I would imagine it'd be fine above a radiator as youd have bent it, joined the two ends and set in a piece of glass/ backboard, which would aid it in holding shape?

There was a bendy wood company i believe from poland or Lithuania, and they soaked timber, heated it, stretched it and somehow it ends up being 'form_able' so you can do curved handrails in situ etc. A customer wanted to get it for their spiral, but the company seemed to have shut down
 
Thanks @Droogs for that, fitting skirting soon in our sunroom which has a curved profile to the plasterwork around door reveals, I think this could be just what I need you’re a star!
 
Interesting stuff. I wonder if its the same as I saw in The Range, marketed for awkward shapes I think they had scotia and another shape as well, that one might have been plastic I did`t investigate.
