Hardwood Suppliers Please

Hi Guys,

Could anyone recommend a supplier of reasonably priced hardwood for projects please? I live in southwest London.

There is a big list of suppliers on here somewhere.
I normally use Tyler hardwoods, Timbmet, Lathams or Arnold laver.
As your in London S L hardwoods (not usually cheap) or Surrey timber.
Price usually comes down with volume.

E Roberts in Tottenham has the usual rough sawn hardwoods like oak, ash, maple, poplar, sapele, etc and I’ve found them reasonably priced when compared to SL Hardwoods and Chiltern Timers. That’s if you don’t mind the trip around the north circular / M25 from SW London.

@Ollie78 what’s Arnold Laver like for their rough sawn hardwoods, pricing, on-site selection (notwithstanding COVID restrictions)? I’m London based but I also some spent time near Reading so their Reading site would be useful. Cheers.
