Hardwood suppliers in the midlands

I need some hardwood but cannot find any suppliers close to me for small volumes. What I wanted was some bird-eye Maple

Anyone got any ideas?

I live just outside leicester and get all my hardwood from Sykes Timber near hinckley.

They have an absolutely huge range (listed on website) and you can buy single boards fro mthem if you want but I try to use the price breaks and buy several cubic feet to save loads of £££s

Give them a call and they will quote over the phone - their preferred method

I live north of Leicester and I think Tony and Neil have got most if not all of the bases covered.
Sykes do sell shorts at good prices they are up the A5 at Atherstone not so far from Whitmores.

Try both it could be a good morning out

I have used whitmores before but they got a bit sweaty about supplying small quantities, will try the others.
