Cheers guys. I had an idea that white spirits would be the stuff, but I didn't want to screw up the wax I have. I found that after I had used some of it it formed a skin on the top. I don't use very much at the mo. So I transferred it over to am empty pot that had contained vitamin C tablets, it's flexible. That way I could keep more air out..

I will see about putting a small amount of white spirit in it tomorrow, plus, it's in my workshop and it's bruddy cold in there at the mo!. Something else, along with my epoxy resin, that I will move over to the house when the temp drops. What with keeping my super glue in the fridge in the summer as well it's getting to be a juggling act

Hi

Weren't wax polishes made with turpentine originally? I know the terms white spirit and turpentine have become synonymous recently but the two compounds are not the same.

Osmo Andy :? :? :? ?

Osmo Hard wax Oil......... they do quite a few different and specialist oils,,,some good reviews and I have used the Hard Wax Oil with some decent results, I know a flooring manufacturer who uses nothing else.

White Spirit evaporates so no problems with mixing it, if you want to stop a skin forming on the top of your oils and Paints,,, when you put the lid back on, give the can a shake and store it upside down, when you want to use it again, any skin which has formed will be at the bottom of the can.
