When my wife was expecting twins we decided to buy a larger car in readiness for their arrival. The part ex offer was rubbish so we decided to sell it privately. We have a long driveway with a turning point so her previous car, a Peugeot 206, as parked at the bottom of the drive. 4 1/4 years later I decided I had had enough and put it on Gumtree for a bargain price.

The response was immediate and before I had even had a chance to search out the keys and paperwork. When a potential buyer arrived the battery was flat, of course, but with jump leads the engine fired at the first click of the key. It hadn't even turned the engine over.

Amazing after all that time.

selling a peugeot 206 was the best move my mrs ever made. Couldnt drive it more than 20 miles before the seat bought tears to my eyes. Passenger seat was marginally better, I could manage maybe a 100 in that as long as I laid it flat.
