Pete wanted to make sure they took out the right bit (hammer)

Good luck and I hope you make a speedy recovery - that cannula looks a bit messy?
Have they got you walking yet and enjoy the DVT stockings :)

My mum had her gall bladder out in 1988, huge scar across the middle of her belly. I understand the operation is a lot less invasive now.

Since 2012 she has continually suffered from diverticulus around the area where the gall bladder was removed, I'm not sure of the exact term but some calcification or something where it was removed.

I hope the procedure is much better now and many years of good health, take care of yourself.

Get well soon

Hi chaps

Thanks

I was out the same day Wednesday, and not needed any pain relief since the op.

Did you have any stones in yours? I was given a plastic bottle with some little "black rocks" in it. Seems I probably passed one or two as well.

Hi

They don't give you antthing back these days, they wouldn't even let me take a picture of my scan!

I a lots of stones and passed a few, not a pleasant experience.

What about the unwritten rule on this forum..................no WIP pictures? it didn't happen!

All the best Pete, I'm sure you'll be back in good form in time for Christmas.

Pete

They gave me my stones and I had my gall bladder removed last year. It was done privately though. They also said they were going to send the scan to me but I never received it.
