I have been sitting in the unheated tractor cab in -10 celsius most of the day today. Running a snow blower on an ice road. On 30cm (1 foot) thick sea ice. Blowing away the snow helps the ice road grow thicker and stronger.
I thoroughly enjoy the first reasonably normal winter we have had in many years!
Statistically it is geting warmer. That is obvious. We have found wild growing oak saplings in our woodland parcel. Spread there by birds the experts say. Normally no oaks should be able to sprout here because our summers were too short. The northernmost wild growing oaks used to be 300km south of us.
