Hi
Is it worth purchasing a Grafton 60 pillar drill? Is it a good make and what would be an acceptable price be? £100? Drill in working condition.
Regards

Owned a Grafton for a few years, big chunk of old iron built like a tank. Had to replace the chuck which was troublesome as it had an odd taper. Accurate enough but was a touch on the large size considering it’s drilling capacity. Replaced with a fobco which has the same capacity in a smaller footprint. Bought the grafton for £50 and sold for the same.

Never found a manual for it. Looks similar to the US atlas drill and think the grafton was a rebadged import. Perhaps an Atlas manual would match and be available.

Regards. Fitz

Quick question; what do you feel you need the manual for I wonder? Most of these machines are fairly basic affairs without much complexity requiring explanation. Perhaps there is something we can help you with here?
